O mushrooms, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways…
I’ll eat ‘em anyway you slice ‘em. Unless, however, you take ‘em out of a can. That’s just yucky.
Here’s one of my faves.
- 1 12 oz. package fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Seasoning salt, to taste
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- In a large skillet, saute the sliced mushrooms in the butter until brown. Sprinkle liberally with seasoning salt. Add Worcestershire sauce and simmer until almost all sauce is absorbed by the mushrooms and mushrooms are tender.
- Serve with steak!
