BBQ Ribs in the Crock-Pot

I get just a little bit giddy when I think about having a meal in the Crock-Pot.  It usually means that the house will smell heavenly all day long and dinner will be quick to get on the table!  Can I get an Amen, sista?

But you know what invention made the Crock-Pot even better?  Yep, it’s the Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners!  Thank you, Reynolds, for relieving this mom of the hassle of cleaning a messy Crock-Pot.

The only thing is, you’ve got to actually remember to put them into the Crock-Pot before you put your food in!

BBQ Ribs in the Crock-Pot

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs. pork or beef ribs
  • 1 c. water
  • ¼ c. cooking sherry
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ c. BBQ sauce

Instructions
  1. Place ribs standing upright in crock pot.
  2. Add sherry and water.
  3. Add Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper.
  4. Pour BBQ sauce over ribs. Cook on low approximately 8 hours. Serve with additional barbecue sauce for dipping.
